For everyone !
This workshop was originally created to offer the accompanists of musicians the opportunity to exercise their talent in a field other than music while being an integral part of the chamber music workshop. A way to share common memories in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
However, it is not necessary to be an accompanist. The workshop is indeed open to any adult who wants to discover the joy of drawing, painting or sculpture or to improve in these different fields.
The plastic arts workshop takes place within the framework of the chamber music workshop (see practical information).
Reception takes place from 5 pm to 7 pm on the first day of the workshop. It ends the last day in the morning.
The course includes 5 hours of daily classes, except on days off, during which the main techniques of drawing, painting or modeling are taught.
An exhibition of the works is organized on one of the last days of the course, generally accompanied by a musical moment.
Finally, the students are invited to come and listen to the concerts of the teachers and students of the chamber music course.
After training at the Beaux-Arts of Verviers and Liège in the 80’s, Maggy Anciaux mainly dedicates herself to sculpture while practicing other techniques.
Nature is part of her daily life, she lives in Touraine. Pencils and sketchbooks are always at hand to better observe and be inspired by nature.
She exhibits in art fairs and festivals in France and abroad.
Maggy shares her passion by teaching in workshops for adults and children, by intervening in schools and associations.
Since 2009, within the framework of Musique en Vacances and then Euromusica, she offers drawing, painting and sculpture-modeling workshops.
Different techniques are studied such as drawing, sketching, pastel, watercolor and acrylic painting, sculpture and clay modelling. Sketch and watercolor sessions are organized in Loches and its beautiful surroudings.
The course is adapted according to the level of each one: discovery or improvement and the pleasure of practicing together.
Themes during the course such as “graphics in the living” or “portrait and travel journal” are suggested.
